Speech Language Pathology / Therapy
PPL speech language pathology therapists (SLPs) help individuals communicate their basic wants and needs effectively.
Extensive speech therapy is often enough to improve individual communication skills, but sometimes it requires high tech devices or a picture communication system. PPL teaches receptive and cognitive language skills using innovative techniques and technology to help with everyday problem solving and reasoning tasks.
Our SLPs also promote safe feeding and swallowing skills and monitor diet tolerance to ensure clients are eating the safest and least restrictive diets possible. This is really important for maintaining a healthy quality of life for the individuals we serve.
